My children are aged 4 and 12 respectively. Can they still join ?
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. While Scratch is primarily designed for 8 to 16 year olds, it is also used by people of all ages, including younger children with their parents (Scratch Jr) from the age of 5. As Scratch teaches logic & design-thinking, it is used as a stepping stone to the more advanced world of computer programming. You can find out more about Scratch here.
My husband is so supportive of us joining that he wants to be a part of this workshop too ! Can he come, so we can enjoy this treat as a family?
Yes, of course – This is totally a family affair ! That said, since it’s a Mother’s Day treat, Mums take the spotlight here by being hands-on in leading and taking on the Scratch programming with the kids.
I've signed up for my daughter and me ! My son is disappointed that he won't be able to join and I'd love for both my children to be with me to enjoy this Mother's Day treat.
You've melted our hearts mama ! Send us an email with the subject "My son wants to code too !" With your son's name and age and let's take it from there !
$80 per ticket to attend the workshop is still too much. Is there any way I can get a discount?
Similar courses are priced at around $80 to $90 per child to attend a 2 to 3-hour lesson. To make learning as accessible as possible for you, we’ve adjusted the rates for this 3-hour workshop special from $100 per child to $80 for both mother and child. What's more, Imagin8ors is giving you an additional discount if you sign the kids up before 30th May for any of their June holidays workshops. We'll share the secret codes with you during the workshop !"
Where can I get a ticket?
Each ticket admits TWO - both mum & daughter. Dads are welcome to join for free as our esteemed guests. Grab yours here !
