Stroke is the fourth course of death in Singapore and the main cause of long-term physical disability in adults. With the ageing population and changing lifestyle factors, the burden of stroke is expected to increase, and will be a challenge to the society, family and individual. This symposium provides a critical evidence-based update of stroke management across the continuum of care in Singapore. It also aims to explore ways in which stroke care can be enhanced via interprofessional perspectives.
Join fellow allied health professionals in this one-day interprofessional symposium, to discuss and share recent advances on stroke care and rehabilitation.
