Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
The first part of the session will focus on operationalization of Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data Technologies to drive better business value and performance.
The discussion will focus on why it is critical for Analytics & AI to become part of the fabric or DNA of on organization to truly become digitally transformed and data driven. This will focus on some real and implemented success stories on how there is greater value in operationalizing analytics & AI into key business processes through the use of Big Data technologies. The topics and case studies will be from multiple industries.
The session will be presented by Rajesh Iyer, Engagement Partner, Analytics & Enterprise Intelligence.
The second part of the session will focus on transfer pricing which is known as one of the key tax risk area for multinational enterprises (“MNEs”). As Singapore is a popular jurisdiction, companies with regional headquarters in Singapore and MNEs with presence in Singapore are engaged in related party transactions which are subject to transfer pricing regulations. The treatment of transfer pricing may also have implications on the eligibility of government incentives available to MNEs operating in Singapore.
Jonathan Belec, Partner, International Tax Services and Johanes Candra, Director, Business Incentives Advisory will provide an overview of recent transfer pricing and incentive developments relevant to MNEs operating in Singapore and discuss the transfer pricing considerations for MNEs receiving or looking to receive government incentives in Singapore.
