Gamification of Marketing: How to get your customers to PLAY and PAY

 

Gamification, often branded a buzzword, is a strategy for engaging with loyalty, game thinking, and motivating otherwise boring actions. Gartner predicts that 80% of gamification campaigns will fail by 2014, but it simply means much more companies will adopt gamification, but will fall flat because of horrible design and poor execution. 

 

McDonald's, Samsung, Mini Cooper, American Express are among some brands which artfully gamify their campaigns to epic wins. In Singapore, DBS and government agencies such as SPRING, also had some luck with their gamification campaigns. Keith will share some of Gametize's cheat codes to making a truly fun experience for your consumers in the conversion FUNnel, as well as some common #epicfail mistakes.
