Session 6: Judicial Colloquium

One of the highlights of the Singapore Insolvency Conference, judges from different jurisdictions come together in the Judicial Colloquium to discuss and share their views on a wide range of issues relating to insolvency and restructuring, with particular focus on cross-border cases and the scope for collaboration and cooperation amongst the courts of different jurisdictions. 

Topics which may be discussed include the roles of courts and judges in dealing with applications in cross-border insolvency cases, recognition of and assistance to foreign insolvency office-holders, the interplay between domestic and foreign insolvency proceedings and the role of the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-border Insolvency.
