About this Programme

In this seminar, salient features of the Singapore International Commercial Court (“SICC”) and the latest developments with respect to the SICC Rules will be discussed. In addition, recent developments on the recognition and enforcement of SICC judgments, significant cases which have been heard by the SICC, and future trends will be identified. Subsequently, the institutional design of the Chinese International Commercial Court (“CICC”) will be addressed.  Specifically, what are the challenges of this newly created CICC? What is required to initiate an action before CICC? What is the structure and composition of the CICC and its operational model?  Will CICC be a success? This seminar attempts to answer these questions.
