The Litigation Conference 2022 is proudly presented by the Civil Practice Committee of The Law Society of Singapore.
This year's Conference will bring together practitioners and the judiciary for a series of discussions on the application of the new Rules of Court. The Conference is timely and well placed between the coming into effect of the new Rules of Court and the end of the “transitional learning phase” on 30 June 2022. There will also be sessions to address the challenges of the new age of litigation, with virtual and paperless litigation at the forefront.
In view of our support for the policy of limiting the spread of Omicron and its adverse effect on the ability of the law firms and the legal profession to function, the Conference this year will be conducted virtually. Designed to maximise participation, the Conference will broadcast panel discussions and speakers to a virtual audience, who will be actively involved through virtual discussions and questions. This is not to be missed!
Note: In the course of the event, photographs/videos/interviews of participants could be taken/conducted by the Law Society or parties appointed by the Law Society for the purpose of post event publicity, either in the Law Society’s official publication/website, social media platforms or any third party’s publication/website/social media platforms approved by the Law Society.
