Dr. Debora Poon
Head of Worldwide Secure Element and Common Criteria

Debora Poon received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2001 and 2006 respectively. Debora heads the worldwide secure element and common criteria organisation within UL, and has played a pivotal role in helping UL Singapore become the first accredited EMVCo security evaluations laboratory in Asia.
Prior to that, she has had more than 15 years' experience in the semiconductor industry - in functions ranging from research and development to operations and programme management. She was also on the 2010 IEEE EDL Golden Reviewer List, and has published over 20 international journals/papers and 5 patents (USPTO).
