We often trust intelligent systems blindly, because we believe in their rationality, impartial objectivity and technical reliability. However, the reality cannot be further from the truth. Not only that there are very few genuinely unbiased systems, but also - there are multiple sources for that bias. According to a recent TechChrunch article: “These sources include the data we use to train systems, our interactions with them in the “wild,” emergent bias, similarity bias and the bias of conflicting goals”.
At our Third City.AI event in Singapore, we invite you to discuss the importance, implications and handling strategies for Model Bias in AI. Our esteemed speakers will share their thoughts and experience from a practical perspective and answer your questions. Then we will open the floor for sharing opinions from the crowd, and we will wrap it up with an open networking session.
Join us for a fun and insightful evening!
