Speakers Profile

De'Angello Harris, Senior Manager, Randstad

De'Angello (D'lo) joined Randstad in 2015 to spearhead client engagement activities in the local tech startup scene and to build the team's capabilities in recruiting for SMEs and startups. D'lo has more than seven years' of specialised recruitment knowledge in information technology. He brought with him best practices and learnings from his time in the US and immediately hit the ground running in Asia's hyper-growth technology ecosystem.

Lee Pei Xi, ICT & Media Industry Specialist, Employment and Employability Institute

Pei Xi is an industry specialist from the ICT & Media team, e2i. She had partnered and assisted companies in manpower, training and productivity solutions. She will share on the Adapt and Grow initiative to encourage employers to support Singaporeans in making career transitions, such as salary support programme from Career Support Programme to hire eligible Singapore Citizen Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) who are retrenched or unemployed for more than 6 months and Career Trial to assess a jobseeker’s fit via a cost-free short-term work stint before offering employment.

Ethan Ang, CEO & Co Founder, NodeFlair

Ethan is the Co-founder of NodeFlair - a highly curated tech talent platform to match tech talents with tech companies in Singapore. Since its launch in July 2018, NodeFlair has powered over 1000 interviews and powered companies like Go-Jek, ShopBack, NinjaVan, Carousell (and more) scale their tech teams quickly. Prior to NodeFlair, Ethan spent a year scaling ShopBack's tech team as part of the NOC program. He dropped out of his Honours year in NUS to start NodeFlair.

 

Panellist

Victor Neo, Carousell, Head of Engineering (1st employee)

Victor is the Head of Engineering at Carousell. He was the first employee and software engineer to join the team, and took over as the Head of Engineering since the start of 2018 to lead the team of a hundred engineers today. He is passionate about growing the tech community in Singapore, and has been hosting several tech community meetups in the office to enable that.

Chew Tee-Ming, Seedly, Co-founder

Tee-Ming is the co-founder of Seedly - a personal finance platform that helps consumer make smarter financial decisions through community driven product comparison and discussion. Prior to Seedly, Tee-Ming took on software engineering roles in Silicon Valley and Singapore.

Lee Junxian, Moovaz, CEO

Junxian is the Co-founder and CEO of Moovaz, a machine intelligence driven block-chain technology for international relocation globally. He has experience launching startups in e-commerce, fintech and cyber-security industries and also has prior experience in investments with a large tech corporate fund. During his free time, Junxian enjoys hiding behind the coffee counter as a barista at Reedz Café, a chain of cafes serving the tertiary education and business park communities, which he co-owns.

 

Felix Tan, Anywhr, Co-founder

Felix is a traveller and co-founder of surprise trips curator Anywhr. From weekend getaways to exotic adventures, Anywhr sends travellers to personalised destinations that are usually off the beaten track. Anywhr was started with a vision to help travellers experience the joy of discovery that spontaneous trips bring. With several startup experiences and a stint at venture capital, he eventually became Head of Operations at a Rocket Internet venture before being half of the founding team at Anywhr.

Jeremy Hon, StaffAny, CTO

Jeremy is CTO and co-founder at StaffAny - a workforce management application that connects HR and operations in order to better manage hourly workers. StaffAny announced a 1M seed round in August and powers over 70 businesses and 130 outlets islandwide.
