About the Programme

Dealing with client expectations and challenging forensic situations can lead to significant time and mental pressure on lawyers to deliver at work, often at the expense of personal well-being and family and social relationships. This session will equip participants with the understanding and skills to proactively draw, practice and communicate appropriate boundaries in life and work for a more sustainable balance and better relationships.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Nature and types of boundaries;
  2. Healthy versus unhealthy boundaries;
  3. Common obstacles to setting or enforcing boundaries;
  4. Impact of failed boundaries on individual and organisational mental wellbeing; and
  5. Guidelines to setting and enforcing healthy boundaries.
