Paper sizes are for reference only: A6 is 105 × 148 mm and A7 is 74 × 105 mm, so our badge sizes are close to, not exactly, those sizes.

Choosing a size

Three things to decide first

How far away it's read

At networking events, names should be readable from a couple of metres away. Larger badges like 4 × 6 inch leave room for a big name without shrinking everything else.

What else it carries

A check-in QR, category, table number, exhibitor QR or sponsors all need space. If you need two QR codes or an agenda, the foldable 4 × 12 inch gives you a second side.

What kind of event it is

Conferences and exhibitions suit 4 × 6 or 4 × 12 inch. Workshops and staff passes suit smaller sizes. Dinners and award nights often use a credit-card size with the table number.

What is the standard conference badge size?

4 × 6 in (101.6 × 152.4 mm), close to A6, is the most common conference badge size. It leaves room for a large name, company, a QR code for check-in and your event branding.

What is a 4 × 12 in foldable badge?

A 4 × 12 in (101.6 × 304.8 mm) badge folds in half to 4 × 6 in, giving two printed sides. A common layout is the attendee's name and check-in QR on the front, and an exhibitor lead-scan QR, the agenda or sponsor branding on the back.

Which badge size suits a dinner or award event?

A credit-card-size card, 2.13 × 3.37 in (54 × 85.6 mm), is generally used for dinners and award events, often printed with the guest's name and table number.

Can you print a custom badge size?

Yes. Besides these sizes, we customise badge dimensions, portrait or landscape layouts, and hole size and placement.
