Why Hong Kong organisers use EventNook

Built for the way Hong Kong runs events

Hong Kong events move fast, draw international delegates and often run in two languages. EventNook covers the whole attendee journey, from the first registration to the badge at the door, without stitching together separate vendors.

Your hours, not ours

Hong Kong and Singapore share the same time zone (UTC+8), so our support team is online during your working day, not overnight.

Chinese names on badges

We have printed badges with Chinese-character names and supported onsite name search in Chinese at real events. No romanised approximations.

An onsite team that travels

Our crew has flown in to deliver onsite services in Hong Kong. Prefer to run it yourselves? We offer remote support and setup training instead.

Enterprise-grade security

ISO 27001 certified, PDPA and GDPR compliant. Ask for our security documentation when your team reviews vendors against Hong Kong's privacy requirements.

0% commission on tickets

Collect payments into your own Stripe, PayPal or Omise account, or by invoice and bank transfer. EventNook takes no cut of your ticket sales.

One system, door to data

The QR code in the confirmation email is the one scanned at check-in, printed on the badge and tracked at every session. No re-keying between systems.

Event types

From harbourfront congresses to company annual dinners

Hong Kong's calendar is packed with trade fairs, finance forums, academic congresses and corporate celebrations. EventNook is set up for all of them, whether you expect 80 guests or several thousand.

Conferences & summits Trade fairs & exhibitions Finance & investor forums Academic congresses Annual dinners & galas AGMs & member meetings Tech & startup events Product launches
Planned around your venue

Counters, kiosks and printers sized to the room you booked

Tell us the venue, the expected turnout and the arrival window, and we will plan the check-in layout with you. Typical Hong Kong settings include:

  • Convention and exhibition centres in Wan Chai and by the airport, where arrival peaks are steep and registration halls are large
  • Hotel ballrooms for AGMs, investor briefings and annual dinners with seating plans and table numbers
  • Innovation hubs and university campuses for tech events, academic congresses and multi-room programmes
  • Corporate offices for client seminars and internal town halls
How it works

How a Hong Kong event runs with EventNook

Most of the work happens online, well before event day. Onsite, you choose between our crew and your own trained team.

  1. Scoping call

An online call about your audience, ticket types, venue and arrival pattern, held during Hong Kong office hours.

  2. Registration goes live

Your branded registration page, forms, payments and confirmation emails with QR codes.

  3. Badges and onsite plan

Badge design, printer and stock choice, and a counter or kiosk layout matched to your turnout.

  4. Event day

Our team flies in to run check-in, or we train your staff and support them remotely.

  5. Reports

Live attendance on the dashboard, then check-in, session and lead reports to download.

FAQ

Questions Hong Kong organisers ask us

Does EventNook have an office in Hong Kong?

EventNook is headquartered in Singapore, and we serve Hong Kong events from there. The platform is cloud-based, our support team works in the same time zone as Hong Kong (UTC+8), and our onsite team travels to Hong Kong for events that need hands-on support.

Can you provide onsite check-in and badge printing staff in Hong Kong?

Yes. Our team has flown in to deliver onsite services in Hong Kong, and we plan travel and equipment with you in advance. If you would rather run check-in with your own staff, we provide setup training and remote support instead. See onsite badge printing in Hong Kong.

Can badges show Chinese names?

Yes. EventNook has printed badges with Chinese-character names and supported onsite name search in Chinese at real events. Mention it when you first contact us so we can set up the badge template and search for your delegate list.

Can we sell tickets in Hong Kong dollars?

Each event sells tickets in one currency, and payments settle into your own Stripe, PayPal or Omise account, so the currencies available follow what your payment account supports. To sell in two currencies, for example HKD for local delegates and USD for overseas ones, create one event per currency. EventNook charges 0% commission on ticket sales.

How is attendee data protected?

EventNook is ISO 27001 certified and PDPA and GDPR compliant. If your organisation reviews vendors against Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, ask us for our security documentation. You can also read our security overview.

How much does it cost?

Software plans are listed on our pricing page. Onsite equipment, badge materials and crew are quoted per event, because they depend on your turnout, badge format and venue. Contact us for a quote.

How early should we book for a Hong Kong event?

As soon as your date and venue are confirmed. The software can be set up quickly, but onsite support for an event outside Singapore needs travel, equipment and badge stock planned ahead.
