Our logos, colours and typeface, and the few rules that keep them looking right. Download the files for press coverage, partner pages and event materials.

Logos

Pick the version that suits the background

Each logo comes as an SVG for the web and design tools, and as a transparent PNG for documents and slides. Use the files as they are; don't redraw or edit them.

Wordmark

Primary logo

Default

Black and Nook Blue on white or light backgrounds. Use this version whenever you can.

Black logo

One colour

For one-colour printing, engraving, greyscale documents, or anywhere the blue can't be reproduced.

White logo

Reversed

For Ink, black and other dark backgrounds, and for dark areas of photos.

Icons

Icon

Small spaces

A white N on a ticket-shaped tile. For favicons, social media profile pictures, and square or small spaces where the full logo won't fit. The notches on each side are part of the icon.

App icon

Apps

A white N on a faceted blue and violet tile, with rounded corners. For app store listings and phone home screens.

Clear space & size

Leave space around the logo

Keep other text, logos and busy images away from the logo, and don't use it so small that it becomes hard to read.

x = the height of the lowercase n in the logo

Clear space

Leave at least x of empty space on every side. More space is always fine.

Logo minimum size

100 px wide on screen, 25 mm wide in print.

Icon minimum size

24 px on screen, 8 mm in print, for either icon. Any smaller and the details blur together.

Colour

Black, white and Nook Blue

The logo uses just three colours. Our icons and website add a small supporting palette. Click a swatch to copy its HEX code.

Typography

One typeface: DM Sans

We use DM Sans for headings and body text on our website and marketing materials. It is free to download from Google Fonts.

  • Headings: Bold, with slightly tight letter spacing.
  • Body text: Regular, with generous line spacing.
  • Buttons and labels: Bold.
The logo isn't typed text. Always use the logo files. Writing our name in DM Sans or any other font is fine in text, but never as a stand-in for the logo.

Misuse

Please don't change the logo

Even small edits make the logo look off-brand. If none of the files above work for you, email us and we'll help.

Don't stretch or squash it

Resize the logo proportionally, holding Shift as you drag.

Don't change the colours

Use the primary, black or white version, not your event's theme colours.

Don't rotate or tilt it

Keep the logo level, reading left to right.

Don't add effects

No shadows, outlines, glows, bevels or gradients on the wordmark.

Don't use low-contrast backgrounds

On colour or busy photos, switch to the white or black logo.

EventNook

Don't retype it

Use the logo files instead of recreating the logo in another font.
